Welcome to TIAT

Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology (TIAT) has been established in March 2006.The institute is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (D.G.C.A), Govt. of India, New Delhi, Vide Letter No. Q3 TIAT / 1392 dated 24/03/2006, Q3 TIAT / 5814 dated 21/11/2006, Q3 TIAT / 3629 dated 17/06/2008 under category 'G' Training School, to impart ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for obtaining Basic Licence in, Mechanical Stream : Heavy Aeroplane and Jet Engine and Avionics Stream : Electrical System, Instrument System and Radio Navigation System and Mechanical Stream Rotary Wing : (RA), Jet Engine (JE) and Piston Engine (PE).

Techornit - 2012

is inter collegiate technical and cultural festival comprising of technical and cultural event of Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology. This festival is organised by students with an aim to encourage interest and innovation in technology among students from different colleges to uncover the hidden potential of students.

Technical events like RoboGenic, Aeromodelling, Kalpana innovation and exhibition, accompanied by fun events like quiz, W-Lan games, Treasure hunt and other event like Aviation Duet Sketching, Me and My Camera and Power of Imagination and many more would be entertained in the festival…….!
