Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) play a pivotal role in the maintenance and upkeep. Who are primarily responsible for keeping the aircrafts in an airworthy condition and issue certificate of release to service before offered for flight. No civil aircraft engaged in flying can do so without perfectly airworthy airframe ,engine, electrical ,instrument ,radio and navigation equipment, Airworthiness of such vital components is been certified by Type Rated licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering certification is specialized licensing programme for servicing and maintenance of Aircraft and only those institutes approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. Of India, New Delhi can impart training in this field to prepare you for the AME exam conducted by the DGCA. DGCA will issue an AME licence.
